1000% recommend getting your van/truck build out at Camplife Customs if your thinking about it. There are too many nice things that I could say about Bobby and his crew. They are amazing at what they do and will really work with you to get you exactly what you want. The quality of the work is insane- so professional. I took my 2014 ford e350 in and they exceeded my expectations with it. I didn’t want anything too crazy done (just a bed and a bench, new diesel heater, roof van) and they got it all done in speedy time with a lot of communication back and forth on their progress. Bobby is a super reasonable guy and you can tell that he truly cares that you are happy with the finished product before taking it home. I posted a review a year ago (below). Just this morning, I received a call from the owner (Adam) asking me to reconsider my post. He sounded both nice and reasonable and offered to help make things better. I'm changing my review from a 1 star to a 4 star as of today, simply because I appreciate the communication and, what seems like a sincere apology and willingness to help on Adam's part. I'm going to see what Adam can help me with (on my van) moving forward, pending a 5 star review for service and removing the previous review completely. Still not letting "Bobby" off the hook just yet. Previous review: If you don't mind doing business with a con man, then this is the place to go. "Bobby" comes off as charming initially. Then he convinces you to put down a large "cash" deposit in order to schedule the work. He never schedules anything and he never actually gets around to doing any work whatsoever. Then he has the audacity to try and keep the deposit when you give up hope of getting anything done or, getting it done right. He's a flim flam man; a complete farce. STAY AWAY.

I can’t explain how amazing the camp life customs crew is! They went above and beyond to help us. We had a complicated situation with our van and not only did they exceed our expectations with fixing our van but they were the kindest most generous people to work with. Bobby and Adam are top notch. I had the best experience here, great customer service, they know what they’re talking about here. I will definitely be sure to let my friends know about their custom vans, their amazing service and overall great knowledge of Vans. Camplife Customs is amazing.

Bobby is a truly good person who will always be honest with you and has incredibly great skills when it comes to building vans. The WHOLE TEAM is super professional including Adam and Josh with their construction and electrical engineering... Camplife Customs make you feel like part of a family as they work with you to design the van exactly as you want it.

I wanted to build a unique mobile home/podcast studio and ohhh man did they do it right!  It looks and feels super solid and I just can't be more happy to know that the money I paid was put to absolutely the best possible use.  I was including the design process very much and the team put together a real work of art here.

There are a lot of van builders out there who are doing literally the same kind of builds as everyone else... But Camplife Customs is on an entirely different level.  They know what works... What doesn't... And most importantly in my opinion they are willing to think outside the box and make a finished product that stands out from the rest.

Another thing to mention is that they are so friendly and helpful when it comes to adjusting or repairing any part of the build after it's finished. Being on the road, sometimes there's some things that settle in and Bobby with the whole team at CLC is readily available to help you.

Bobby, Adam, and the whole crew run a great operation.

I bought a sprinter cargo van in Spring 2023, and by luck Camplife Customs were the first people I called.

They designed, built, and installed a power system that uses solar, alternator, and shore power inputs and installed a roof vent fan and did all the labor in 1.5 weeks.

My plan was to then finish the build myself (kitchen, storage, bed, etc) and they were very supportive and insistent that I call them as questions came up.

Long story short, the first round of work they did was so high quality and their pricing is beyond fair, so I just handed the van back to them and they finished the build much faster and much better than I could have hoped for, let alone accomplished myself. They also worked with me to custom design the bed so that it can be disassembled and removed from the van in 5 minutes.

I’ll definitely be going back to do some cosmetic upgrades like wooden walls…check out their instagram to see some beautiful woodwork.

I am 68 years old an decided to do Van Life after watching the lady in the van on Netflix.  Bought a 2012 E150 Ford van with only 24,000 miles at a auction, what a blessing, I then bought the deluxe Maxx Fan, I then needed to find someone to install it, I found a Mercedes Van Conversion place in Sacramento Ca, I thought since they do expensive Mercedes, they were the professionals on how to install a Maxx Fan, a year later, I  was in a terrible rain storm, and found out I had a leak ???? so I  made an appointment  at Camping World, told the man what was going on he told me he could fix it no problem, but they couldn't do it for two months, set the appointment for 10 am,  when the day came, not sure how to get there, it was far away, got there at 8:30 am, they told me they did not have the part, when they told me it would be there, I  was getting  a seal, and a Maxx Fan Cover, I had told the man exactly what Maxx Fan I had, and I could order the cover from Amazon, the man told me they were having a sale that it would be cheaper for me to get it there, again  after two months they did not have the cover there the day of my appointment, so I had to wait 4 hours for them to go find a cover, when they finally got a cover, then they informed me that they could not seal my Fan, and the cover they got would not fit, all I could do is ????because I did not know what to do, then that inter voice of the MOST HIGH UNSEEN said go to Google, and look-up a Van Conversion place, the first place I saw was a place called CampLife Customs, a man answered right away, and I told him my dilemma, and he told me to come to the shop, and he would take a look at it, this young man name Bobby, told me not to worry he would have it done right away, that I came to the right place, this what he does, he took my Maxx Air Fan off, cleaned it up, inspected it for any cracks, clean my Van roof off, and installed it and sealed it correctly it properly, and said, that I had the Maxx Fan Deluxe, which did not need a cover, the Mercedes Van Conversion place did it wrong, after it was done, I asked him how much for his services?, he told me he does not work on Fridays, but he felt he was called to do a service from his heart and for a good deserving mama.  THE MOST HIGH UNSEEN!, and did not charge me, I cried, I knew I was blessed.
